Margiotta Electric, Inc.

Our grandfather V.J. Margiotta established his electrical service company in “1910” in a small duplex on Phillip Street in New Orleans where he resided on one side and worked out of the other. Back in the day Vincent’s only means of transportation was on a streetcar where he carried his tool box and held his ladder out the window of the streetcar to get to a customer’s location. Later when our dad Anthony (A.J.) and Uncle Harry Margiotta were ready to be a part of the company it became V.J. Margiotta and Sons.

Continuing the tradition started by their grandfather, third generation current owners Vincent, Lawrence “Larry” and Joseph Margiotta decided to incorporate the company on September 18th, 1987 and the name was replaced with its current status of Margiotta Electric, Inc.

Margiotta Electric, Inc. with over one hundred years of quality electrical service is one of the oldest electrical service companies in the New Orleans area. Our experienced staff of licensed electricians can accommodate any size project from a residential new build, remodel or repair service to any size new commercial build or renovations.
